Commercial Cell Signal Booster Installation

Office buildings, retail spaces, medical offices, restaurants, schools — any commercial building can have dead zones. Poor cell signal costs businesses in lost productivity, dropped calls with clients, and failed mobile payments. We design and install Wilson Pro systems that cover the entire building, across all carriers.

One system. Every floor. Every carrier. Permanently fixed.

Why Commercial Buildings Have Dead Zones

Modern commercial construction is especially hostile to cell signal:

  • Low-E glass curtain walls — Energy code-compliant windows contain a metallic coating that acts as an RF barrier. The newer and more energy-efficient the building, the worse the signal problem tends to be.
  • Concrete and steel framing — Structural concrete and steel between floors and around elevator shafts create hard barriers that cell signal cannot penetrate at usable strength.
  • Thick walls between suites — Multi-tenant buildings with fire-rated demising walls further fragment signal distribution.
  • Elevator shafts — Metal elevator shafts are RF dead zones that also affect surrounding areas.
  • Building footprint depth — Large floor plates push interior spaces far from windows, eliminating any path for outdoor signal to reach interior users.

The Wilson Pro Difference

We install Wilson Pro commercial systems — not consumer-grade boosters from an Amazon listing.

  • Wilson Pro 4000 — Covers up to 140,000 sq ft, supports 100+ simultaneous users, handles all major carriers
  • Wilson Pro 4300 — All the above plus cloud-based monitoring and remote management via the Wilson Pro Connect app
  • FCC registered — All Wilson Pro commercial systems are FCC registered and carrier compliant
  • Multi-carrier — AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, FirstNet all amplified simultaneously from a single system

Our Process

  • Free site assessment — We walk the building, take signal readings at multiple points, and document the existing signal environment
  • Signal survey — Identify source signal strength outside the building and map dead zone locations inside
  • System design — Select the right Wilson Pro system, antenna count, and cable routing plan for the building
  • Installation — Mount outside antenna, install amplifier, run cable, mount inside antennas. We handle conduit and permit work where required.
  • Testing — Verify coverage on all target carriers at all points in the building
  • Sign-off — Documentation for your records

Common Commercial Applications

Medical offices — Staff rely on mobile devices for communication, scheduling, and referrals. Dead zones in exam rooms or back offices affect patient care workflows.

Hotels — Guest satisfaction scores are directly tied to in-room connectivity. Cell signal complaints are among the top negative review categories for hotels in the Puget Sound market.

Restaurants and retail — Modern POS systems, mobile payment readers, and staff communication tools require reliable cell signal. Dead zones cause transaction failures and communication gaps during service.

Schools and universities — Staff safety depends on mobile communication reaching every corner of campus. Buildings with poor signal create gaps in emergency response capability.

Service Area

We serve commercial clients across Pierce County and King County, including Tacoma, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, Seattle, Bellevue, Kent, Renton, and surrounding areas.
